Conversare gatherings are new to Adelaide. They are for anyone who enjoys conversation with with interesting people. And also who may wish to gain a sense of how it may be applied in situations in which high quality relating is vital to the success of particular enterprises. 

The context in which this occurs can be desribed as 'stepping into a generous little spirit of old fashioned goodwill.'

This happens in public places where food is served such as pubs, cafes, restaurants, hotels. Or in community centres and other places available to the public where food can be catered in.

There is a host whose role it is to welcome everyone - the right people to be present - and to outline the procedures of the event. Which includes participants having a meal with someone they do not know, or not well.

For as you would likely appreciate there is something very special about engaging well with a stranger, particularly when all present in the room are doing  the same.

All that is asked of participants is that they give of themselves through being curious and interested in the person with whom they will share their meal. And in others who they may meet informally both before and after this sharing.
